Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday so great for us by showing up and sharing your time with us. The day is a bit of a blur, but a fun and exciting blur. We are going to post some images when we get back but since the trains and tides conspired to keep most of you from hearing our vows we wanted to get those up right away.

If you have any images or video that you would like to share with us we would love to have it. Please e-mail it to joebarrentine@yahoo.com.

Thank you!

JB and IB

Ingrid’s vows:

My Beloved,

Today I have come here to give you the keys to my heart. I cannot imagine life on this journey without you and so I promise to never ever leave you. It is now and will forever be my delight to honor and cherish you. Up to this point, you’ve told me that it takes two strong individuals coming together to make this relationship successful, I promise to be a strong woman as we step across life’s threshold into this next chapter.

I passionately and fervently love you.

Song of Solomon 2:10-13 NIV
My lover spoke and said to me, “Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.”

I will forever go with you!

Joe’s vows:

I promise to honor you every day— in words and deeds.
I promise I will be your best friend — as we grow together.
I promise to work every day to make our relationship stronger — with smiles and laughter.

And I promise I will spend the rest of our life trying to make all our dreams come true — through hard work and prayer.

I love you.
