My turn…
Did Ingrid mention it was cold out there today? I mean like Kansas cold. The first few minutes wasn’t bad as we made photos on the field. I think the air must not move as much down there as it does in the stands.
We headed up to Seattle earlier than we needed to so that we could check out Pike Place Market.
As odd as it may sound, we had never been there together, so it seemed like a good idea. Ingrid took me to the first Starbucks where we both got a coffee and then moved on to a Russian pastry shop for a piroshky..mmmm, tasty!
It was a busy morning of shooting and driving. Here are the photos I posted at tribnet.com
As we left Safeco Field we saw a guy working on a massive sign on the side of the building across the street. We waited a bit for the right moment to make a photo and then headed to mom’s house for tacos and Wii golf. Good times!

The original sign. (please note the name of the company has changed)

(This is a second or so after Ingrid’s photo of the kid with the funny hat running at her.)

Us in the Seattle Mariners training room. After many miles at the Y in Tacoma just a few minutes in this gym made me weaker and slower…my vision got worse, too. Maybe the Mariner’s problems are all medical!
The gift shot on the way out.
Later.
