Donna’s Banana Bread
So, I’m working around the house today and ran across my Mom’s recipe for Banana Bread (the best in the entire world!!!!). She said she got the recipe from a friend while in Ayer (Fort Deven), Massachusetts for my Dad’s AIT training after he joined the Army. She thinks it was in 1968 or so and she has been using the recipe ever since. She said it was a simple recipe made with very few ingredients. And it tastes great.
I thought I would share it here because so many people have asked for it.
3-4 Bananas
1 Cup of sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of melted butter
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
